My Story
Well, my story starts in a village close to Montreal (Canada), growing up around nature and culture. I began my academic career studying history, before diverging into art history. These studies were interspersed with numerous trips that enabled me to analyze society and art in situ. Teaching art history was my goal. However, at the age of 24, my six-month trip to around the world made me realize that our society didn't need a theorist of the past, but rather a practitioner of the present moment.
Far from regretting the path I took, I'm going to return to it one day to blend the knowledge I've acquired so that I can better teach what the past has passed on to us, for a more pleasant future. Because of this interest, I decided to expose some art from the artists of the region on my office walls.
On this landmark trip, I met my love in Germany, not my Master's subject. My life changed completely when I returned in 2013 to Montreal. I started a course in massage therapy (basic Swedish) and began a calmer, more spiritual life with the man who is now my husband and the father of our son. I attended other courses including an introduction to Californian massage and reflexology.
My journey continued in Germany, where during an Amma event I discovered Bowen Therapy, which gave me a whole new perception of the body. My three years working in a spa in Munich gave me a different understanding of society's needs. My attraction to Indian culture led me to take a course in Marma points at Europe's largest ashram, and to go to India for a short course in Ayurvedic massage.
On my return to Canada, I took other courses including pregnancy massage, fascia therapy, Lomi Lomi Nui and Reiki 1 and 2.
After living in Montreal for three more years, our family decided to continue our story in Germany, in Kusterdingen, a little village close to Tübingen. I'm still looking for the perfect workplace in my area; that’s why I finally decided to start working just a little bit from home. I have the perfect office for treatments, and I’ll be happy to welcome you in my good vibe space.

My Approach
Every massage therapist has their own vision, their own way of massaging.
For my part, I have a holistic vision of the body; I see massage as an act of healing, both energetic and mechanical. No matter how you work on the body, all massages are therapeutic. Every massage is different, and so is every day; that's why I prioritize open-mindedness during each visit, letting the body speak for itself, listening to its needs, at that precise moment,
and silencing the mind, which is used to deciding rationally.
After a treatment, the healing process will continue in your body to achieve the greatest benefits. I'm always delighted to see my clients' healing progress; if a person really wants to activate a change, there's often more to it than just receiving a massage.
It's a work in itself that I feel honoured to accompany.
My Goal
I'd like to open a center for alternative medicine, where everyone can feel completely relaxed and at ease; a home where you can feel good, have a cup of tea after a treatment, and enjoy the work that's just been done. There would be a comfortable living room and a garden serving as a welcoming waiting area. The center would have several rooms for massage therapy, acupuncture and osteopathy, and a large room for yoga and seminars.
I'm looking for motivated colleagues to join this project. The vibe on the Härten is wonderful, so I'm looking for a place around here.
